Infrastructure Engineer 

Salary – Up to £45,000

Fully Remote or Hybrid

35 Hours per week

About the Role 

You will be a part of the IT team that develops, tests, and supports the business and technological systems. Developing, upgrading, and integrating business systems while putting an emphasis on system and service resilience. You will promote the use of cloud-based infrastructure and advancing technology within the team and throughout the larger organisation. 

You will have the following experience: 

• Relevant experience providing, configuring, administering, and supporting backup, recovery, and resilience of systems and services.
• Experience in providing support for Windows servers and networking particularly Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, LAN & VLANs, firewalls, VPNs, and infrastructure.
• Experience in installing server, networking, storage, and backup hardware and software.
• Good understanding of virtualisation technologies.
• Experience in AWS/Azure Cloud infrastructure, PaaS, and IaaS implementation and administration.

The following experience is desirable:  

• Any certification in VMware or Microsoft.
• Experience in VMware vSphere Server virtualisation.
• Experience of any of the following: Windows Server, MS System Centre, SQL Server, Oracle, Azure components, ISO27001, SANs.
• Azure cloud infrastructure implementation and administration. 
• Hybrid infrastructure configuration and experience migrating on premise solutions and services into Microsoft Azure.
• Powershell scripting.
