Senior Civil Engineer
Location: Manchester
Salary: £40,000 - £50,000
We’re working with a growing multi-disciplinary consultancy that is looking to expand its team in Manchester with the addition of a Senior Civil Engineer.

The Role
You’ll be working across a wide range of development infrastructure projects, taking schemes from planning and feasibility through to detailed design and construction.
As a key member of the team, you’ll have the autonomy to manage your own work, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and act as a main point of contact for clients and stakeholders.
What We’re Looking For
While there’s flexibility in the profile, ideally you’ll have:
- A degree in Civil Engineering (BEng/MEng or equivalent)
- A minimum of 4 years' experience within consultancy (ideally multi-disciplinary)
- Experience delivering infrastructure designs for development projects
- Proficiency in Civil 3D, MicroDrainage and/or Causeway Flow
- Solid understanding of hydraulic principles and drainage strategy development
- Familiarity with S104, S38, S278, and S185 agreements and relevant planning processes
- Ability to manage your own workload, attend site and client meetings, and oversee technical delivery
- Experience leading or mentoring junior engineers
- Strong communication skills and confidence working with clients and design teams
- A full UK driving licence and ability to travel to the Nottingham office
- Chartered or working towards chartership (ICE or equivalent)
