Graduate Electrical Design Engineer - Building Services

Location: Remote – With site travel 

Salary: £25,000 - £28,000

Are you a Graduate Electrical Design Engineer looking to take the next step in your career? A growing multidisciplinary MEP consultancy  is seeking a talented engineer to join its dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce detailed electrical building-services designs, drawings, and specifications.
• Carry out calculations using industry-standard software and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
• Work closely with mechanical engineers, architects, contractors, and clients to deliver coordinated MEP solutions.
• Undertake site surveys, client meetings, and technical reviews.
• Support project delivery from concept through to completion, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and technical excellence.
• Contribute to sustainable and energy-efficient design strategies.

What we’re looking for:

• Degree or HNC/HND in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering (or equivalent experience).
• Experience in electrical building-services design, ideally within consultancy desirable.
• Familiarity with industry software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Relux/Dialux, and electrical calculation tools.
• Good understanding of British Standards, Building Regulations, and CIBSE guidelines.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to manage your own workload.
• A team player with a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
