Are you an experienced Architectural Technician looking to join a forward-thinking practice? My client is seeking a technically focused Architectural Technician to join their growing team in Edinburgh. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a range of commercial projects, collaborating with a talented team while delivering high-quality technical solutions across all RIBA stages.

Key Responsibilities for this Architectural Technician role:

• Deliver projects across all RIBA stages with a strong technical focus.
• Produce high-quality technical drawings, detailing and construction information.
• Develop, coordinate and manage Revit models throughout project delivery.
• Coordinate with architects, consultants and the wider project team.
• Support the successful delivery of projects through effective planning and organisation.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with clients and external stakeholders.
• Mentor and support junior team members where appropriate.
• Ensure projects comply with UK Building Regulations and industry best practice.
• Manage your own workload to meet project deadlines.
• Attend site visits and travel throughout the UK to support project delivery where required.

Requirements for this Architectural Technician role:

• HNC, HND or Degree in Architectural Technology, or equivalent industry experience.
• Experience delivering Commercial projects within the UK.
• Proficiency in Revit is essential.
• Experience working within BIM environments.
• Strong technical knowledge of UK construction methods, detailing and Building Regulations.
• Good understanding of the UK planning and construction process.
• Comfortable working in a client-facing role.
• Strong communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Willingness to travel throughout the UK when required.
