Role Overview

An exceptional opportunity has arisen for an experienced Registered Manager to lead a therapeutic children's home in Frodsham

This is a role for a confident, values-led leader who wants genuine influence over how a service is run — with strong support in place and real scope to shape strategic growth as the organisation expands.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Working in accordance with current legislation, including the Children's Homes (England) Regulations 2015, Quality Standards 2015, the Children Act 1989 and 2004, and all other relevant legislation

  • Working collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary framework, promoting equality and inclusive practice at all times

  • Undertaking and participating in all required training and development programmes

  • Developing and maintaining effective partnerships with external agencies and professionals

  • Overseeing quality assurance processes in line with Ofsted and internal monitoring requirements

  • Ensuring care plans and support packages are regularly reviewed and remain responsive to children's needs

  • Working in partnership with children, families and professionals in care planning

  • Ensuring children's health needs are met through effective partnership working with health professionals

  • Promoting participation in therapeutic, social and recreational activities, including access to in-house clinical support

  • Ensuring all children access a full and appropriate education programme

What You'll Need

  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (England)

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in residential childcare, including at least 3 years in a senior position

  • Experience of assessment, care planning and reviews

  • Evidence of effective partnership working

  • A full UK driving licence

  • A strong understanding of relevant legislation, including the Children Act 1989, Care Standards Act 2000, and Children's Homes Regulations 2015

  • Knowledge of therapeutic models
