Acoustic Consultant

Salary: £30,000 - £45,000 DOE

Your Role

As an Acoustic Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality consultancy services. Your daily responsibilities will include:

• Conducting site surveys and noise and vibration measurements.
• Preparing technical reports and environmental assessments.
• Acoustic modelling using CadnaA and ODEON.
• Collaborating with architects, developers, and engineers to deliver tailored acoustic solutions.
• Mentoring junior team members, fostering their growth and development.

What We’re Looking For

To excel in this role, you will need:

• Experience: A minimum of 2 years in acoustic consultancy.
• Qualifications: A degree in acoustics or a related field. Membership in the IOA (Institute of Acoustics) is highly desirable.
• Technical Expertise: Proficiency in using acoustic modelling software (e.g., CadnaA, SoundPLAN) and familiarity with BS4142, BB93, and other relevant standards.
