Building Services Engineer 

London

£40,000–£50,000

Key responsibilities include:

• Supporting senior team members in the delivery of building services projects
• Taking an active role in technical design across multiple project stages
• Undertaking design calculations to inform engineering decisions
• Producing technical reports, specifications, and supporting documentation
• Coordinating with clients, architects, contractors, and external consultants
• Attending client, design, and progress meetings
• Carrying out site inspections and reporting findings back to the design team
• Collaborating with other disciplines to deliver integrated project solutions
• Supporting wider business objectives through cross-team collaboration

Technical Exposure

The role will involve working with a range of industry-standard tools and software, including:

• Amtech
• AutoCAD
• Dialux or Relux
• General reporting and specification writing tools

The Ideal Candidate

• Degree in Building Services, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or similar)
• Experience within a building services consultancy environment
• Understanding of mechanical, electrical, or public health systems
• Familiarity with industry software such as AutoCAD, Amtech, Dialux/Relux
• Strong communication skills and ability to liaise with multiple stakeholders
• Proactive, organised, and able to manage workload across multiple projects
