An outstanding opportunity has arisen for a Geotechnical Engineer to join a leading international engineering consultancy in their Central London office.

Key Responsibilities

• Undertake geotechnical analysis and design for foundations, retaining structures, earthworks and ground improvement schemes.
• Interpret ground investigation data and geotechnical reports.
• Prepare technical calculations, specifications and design reports.
• Support project delivery from feasibility through to detailed design and construction.
• Liaise with clients, contractors and multidisciplinary design teams.
• Mentor and support junior engineers within the team.
• Contribute to project planning, programme management and technical excellence.

Requirements

• Degree qualified in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Strong experience within a consultancy environment.
• Demonstrable experience in foundation design, retaining structures, earthworks and geotechnical assessments.
• Proficient in geotechnical analysis and design software.
• Chartered status (CEng) or working towards chartership through ICE or a similar professional institution.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
