We are currently recruiting on behalf of a Chartered Civil and Structural Engineering consultancy looking to appoint a Civil Engineer to join their team in Bridgend. This is a great opportunity to become part of a well-established consultancy delivering innovative and cost-effective engineering solutions across projects throughout the UK.

The company provides civil and structural engineering expertise to a diverse client base, supporting projects from early concept and design through to construction and completion. Their team of experienced engineers and technicians combine strong technical knowledge with a collaborative approach to ensure projects are delivered efficiently and to a high standard.

Working with developers, architects, construction companies, and private clients, the consultancy prides itself on building strong, trusted relationships while guiding projects from initial feasibility through to final delivery.

The Role

As a Civil Engineer, you will support the design and delivery of infrastructure and development projects, working closely with engineers and project teams to develop practical and innovative solutions.

You will be involved in projects from concept and feasibility through to detailed design and implementation, contributing to technical designs, reports, and coordination with project stakeholders.

This role offers hybrid working and is open to candidates based in Bridgend or the surrounding area.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the design and delivery of civil engineering and infrastructure schemes
• Prepare technical drawings, reports, and engineering calculations
• Collaborate with architects, developers, contractors, and internal teams
• Support project delivery from concept through to construction stages
• Liaise with clients and stakeholders where required
• Ensure designs comply with industry standards and regulations
  
  

What We’re Looking For

• Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
• Experience in development infrastructure or civil engineering design
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroDrainage or similar design software
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work effectively within a collaborative engineering team
