Compliance Manager
Location: Chorley (Hybrid working available)
Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 per annum
Contract: 12 Month Fixed Term Contract
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Compliance Manager to join a growing Financial Services business on a 12-month fixed term contract.
This is a key role within the compliance function, supporting the business during a period of growth and helping to ensure the highest standards of regulatory compliance, governance and risk management are maintained.
Working closely with internal stakeholders, you’ll provide expert compliance guidance, oversee monitoring activity and play an important role in strengthening the organisation’s compliance framework.
Support the development, implementation and maintenance of compliance policies, procedures and frameworks
Monitor regulatory changes and assess their impact on the business
Conduct compliance monitoring reviews, file reviews and thematic assessments
Provide guidance and advice on FCA requirements and regulatory standards
Support regulatory reporting activities
Manage and investigate complaints, ensuring they are handled in line with regulatory expectations
Complete compliance risk assessments and provide recommendations to mitigate risk
Investigate compliance breaches and support appropriate corrective actions
Produce compliance reports, MI and updates for senior stakeholders
Support the delivery of compliance training and promote a strong compliance culture
We’re looking for an experienced compliance professional with a strong background within Financial Services who can confidently operate in a regulated environment.
You will ideally have:
Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning (DipPFS, DipFA or equivalent)
Experience working within a Compliance Manager, Senior Compliance Officer, Compliance Monitoring or similar role
Strong knowledge of FCA regulations and financial advice standards
Experience conducting file reviews, monitoring activity and risk assessments
Understanding of compliance frameworks, governance and regulatory requirements
Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail
The ability to interpret complex regulations and provide practical solutions to the business
Salary of £50,000 - £55,000 per annum
Hybrid working (4 days office / 1 day from home)
12 month fixed term contract
