What You’ll Be Doing

  • Preparing year-end accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies

  • Supporting in the preparation of management accounts

  • Preparing VAT returns and assisting with tax computations

  • Liaising directly with clients and HMRC

  • Supporting junior team members where appropriate

  • Assisting with ad-hoc projects and client advisory work

What We’re Looking For

  • Ideally AAT qualified or part-qualified ACA/ACCA (study support available)

  • Minimum 2–3 years’ experience within an accountancy practice

  • Strong working knowledge of accounting software (e.g. Xero, QuickBooks, Sage)

  • Confident communicator with a proactive, detail-oriented approach

  • Keen to progress and take on more responsibility over time

Location: Aylesbury Vale, Buckinghamshire (office-based with some flexibility after probation)
Salary: £30,000–£38,000 depending on experience
